Everyone Can Be Friends with Jesus (I)

We are starting up a new series called, “Everyone Can Be Friends with Jesus” and we will be looking at Matthew 4:18-22; Luke 5:1-11. Jesus began gathering those who would become His disciples, the ones who would become His closest friends. Jesus didn’t go to the religious leaders. He didn’t go to the kings. He went to…fishermen. They might be as shocked as anyone, wondering why Jesus, who was known by all as a great teacher, would choose them. Jesus welcomes everyone.
