Jesus Teaches Me Important Things (2)

Jesus teaches that God cares for us.

Birds and Flowers • Matthew 6:25-34

Jesus taught his disciples that God takes care of birds. These birds don’t have to work to earn money to buy food. God makes trees and plants to feed the birds. Jesus also taught that the flowers are beautiful because God gives them colours. The birds don’t have to worry if they will have food to eat. The flowers never wonder if they will have colours to look pretty. It is God who takes care of the birds and flowers.

Questions

1. Why do birds don’t have to earn money to buy food?

“God will feed the birds with food from trees and plants.”

2. What can we learn from the beautiful flowers?

“God will give us nice clothes to wear.”

3. What important things do you want to learn from Jesus?

Just like how God will feed the birds, we will have food to eat. Just like how God takes care of flowers, we will have clothes to wear. Jesus teaches us that God will take care of us by giving us food to eat and clothes to wear. So we don’t have to worry about anything because God loves us more that He loves the birds and the flowers.
