Jesus Teaches Me Important Things (3)

Memory Verse“The people were amazed at his teaching.” Matthew 7:28

Jesus teaches us we can share.

Bigger Barns • Acts 2:45; Luke 12:16-23

There was a farmer who grew lots of grains for food. He put all the grains in his barn. But the barn was full and there were still lots of grains left. So he built a bigger barn to keep the extra grains. He could have shared the food with others, but he kept them for himself. Jesus told this story to teach his friends that they could share the food with others instead of keeping for themselves.

We can share our toys to play or our extra packet of snacks with others to eat. Jesus shares lots of good things with us, so we can also be like Jesus to share what we have with others.
