GOD’s GOT IT (1)

Memory Verse : “Trust in the Lord with all your heart.” Proverbs 3:5, NIV

I can trust God.

Burning Bush • Exodus 3:1-18, 6:11; Psalm 118:7

While taking care of his sheep, Moses sees a bush that is on fire but the leaves are still green. The bush isn’t burning up. Then Moses hears God’s voice coming from inside the burning bush. God tells Moses to go to Egypt and help God’s people, the Israelites. God wants Moses to take the Israelites to a new land. Moses isn’t sure he can do it, but God tells Moses, “I will be with you.” Moses can trust God because nothing is too big for God.

Discussion
Questions

1. Why was Moses surprised when he saw the burning bush?

“There was fire on the bush but it wasn’t burning up.”

2. Why did Moses say yes to God to go to Egypt?

“He said yes because God will be with him.”

3. What is one difficult thing to do that you will need God’s help?

God can do all things. When He asks us to do things that might be difficult, He will help us do them because He is able to do it. Nothing is too difficult for God. When our family members fall sick, we can pray for God to make them better. When the weather is thundery with heavy rain, we can pray for God to protect those who are driving. God is with us and able to do things that we can’t.
