Everyone can be friends with Jesus. The Twelve • The Gospels There were 12 men who were very close to Jesus. They came from different families and had different jobs – some were fishermen and tax collectors. They followed Jesus wherever He went. They saw how Jesus were friends with the poor and the hungry. So when Jesus went away, the 12 men continued to go everywhere to tell everyone that they can be friends with Jesus.
