Hannah

I can pray to God • 1 Samuel 1 – 2

Hannah was very sad. She really wanted a baby but she could not. So she talked to God. After that, she felt better. She knew she could talk to God anytime, anywhere, and about anything because God would hear everything that Hannah wanted to talk about. After Hannah cries out to God and talks to Him about why she is so sad, she isn’t sad anymore.

Questions

1. What did Hannah do when she feel sad?

“Hannah would talk to God when she felt sad.”

2. How did she feel after talking to God?

“She felt better because she knew God would listen to her.”

3. Are there things you want to talk to God about?

God will always hear us when we talk to Him. We can tell Him what we like about the food that we eat, or the toys that we play with. We can also talk to Him about the things that make us sad or afraid. We can talk to Him at home, in school or at the shopping malls. He will listen to us anytime and anywhere. He wants to know all that we want to tell Him because He loves us.
