God loves us so much that God gave us Jesus.

God loves me • John 3:16; 1 John 4:9-10

God made us wonderful and loves us so much that God gave us a gift. But not just any gift. This is better than a teddy bear or a pair of shoes. God made you and loved you so much that He gave you Jesus! Jesus is a special gift because Jesus is God’s Son and because Jesus wants to be your friend forever.

1. What is the special gift that God has given to us?

“The special gift that God gives is Jesus.”

2. Why does God give us Jesus?

“God gives us Jesus because He loves us very much.”

3. What would you give to someone you love very much?

Can you think of a gift that is most precious to you? It is precious because it is very important to you. God gives us Jesus as His most precious gift because you are important to Him. All of us can receive Jesus as our very precious gift. But there are still many people who do not know who Jesus is. That is why we must tell them that God made them wonderful and Jesus loves them very much.
