The Fiery Furnace • Daniel 3

King Nebuchadnezzar made a big golden statue and told everyone to worship it. But Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego loved God and would not bow down. The king was angry and threw them into a fiery furnace. God protected them, and they were not hurt. When they came out safely, the king saw God’s power and praised Him.

“They were in the hot fire but were not hurt.”

“The king saw four people walking in the fire, and one looked like an angel sent by God.“

3. Tell me about a time when you choose not to do what is wrong. How did God protect you?

God protects us when we trust and obey Him. We can choose to do what is right even when it is hard. At preschool, when you see your friends taking extra stickers without asking, you can choose not to follow what they do. You will not get scolded if the teacher finds out.
