Jesus Washes His Friends’ Feet • John 13:3-7, 34-35

One night Jesus was having dinner with His friends, the disciples. After that, Jesus got up from where He was eating and wrapped a towel around His waist. He poured some water into a bowl, knelt down in front of His friends and began washing their feet. After that, He used the towel to dry their feet. He told His friends that this will be the way for them to love others, just like how He loved others. To follow Jesus is to follow how He would love others.

We can show love in many ways – we can say good things to make others happy. We can share our toys so that all can play together. We can help our parents by keeping all the toys after playing. We can call our grandparents and tell them that we love them. We can love like Jesus.
