JESUS IS ALWAYS A GOOD FRIEND (3)

Memory Verse : “A friend loves you all the time.” Proverbs 17:17, NCV

Jesus is a good friend when I am sad.

Mary, Martha, and Lazarus • John 11:1-3, 20, 28-36

Mary and Martha are friends with Jesus, but they are very sad because their brother, Lazarus was sick and has died. Jesus takes His friends with Him to visit Mary and Martha. When Mary and Martha see Jesus, they cry and Jesus cries with them. Jesus is sad with Mary and Martha, because that’s what good friends do, and Jesus is always a good friend.

“Jesus cries because He is a very good friend with Mary and Martha.”

3. Is there a sad or happy moment where you like to share with Jesus?

Jesus knows our feelings. He knows when we are sad or when we are happy. He also feels sad when we are sad, and happy when we are happy. He cares for us and that’s what good friends do. That is why we can talk to Jesus about how we feel. He will stay by our side all the time because He is always a good friend.
