God told Mary she would have His Son, Jesus. Luke 1:26-33, 38, 46-49
Long ago God sent an angel to a girl named Mary. She was afraid but the angel told her not to be afraid and that God will give her a baby. This baby is very special. His name is Jesus and He is God’s Son. When she heard that, she wasn’t afraid anymore. Instead, she will do whatever God wanted her to do. This was the beginning of the Christmas story. The angel was telling Mary that God was giving the world a very special gift.
