JESUS is GOD’s SON (3)

Memory Verse : “God has given a Son to us.” Isaiah 9:6, NCV

The shepherds run to see Jesus and then run to tell everyone about Jesus.

The Shepherds • Luke 2:8-20

On the night Jesus is born, there are shepherds in a field taking care of their sheep. While the shepherds are watching their sheep, an angel appears. The angel tells the shepherds that Jesus, God’s Son, has been born, and then, the whole sky fills with angels praising God. The shepherds are so excited they run to see baby Jesus. Then, the shepherds run to tell everyone that Jesus, God’s Son, is born.

Questions

1. What did the shepherds do after the angel told them about baby Jesus?

“They ran to look for baby Jesus.”

2. Why were they excited to tell everybody about baby Jesus?

“They wanted to tell everybody that Jesus is born.”

3. Who do you want to tell about Jesus this Christmas?

Jesus was born and everyone was excited about it. We are also excited that Jesus comes to be our best friend forever. He comes to love us and tell us of a great God who made everything. This is a wonderful news that we can tell everyone this Christmas – our friends, uncles and aunties, neighbours – that Jesus is here with us and wants to be everybody’s best friend forever.
