Jesus Teaches at the Temple Luke 2:41-50
Jesus and his parents went to Jerusalem for a big celebration. When it was over, everyone went home but Jesus stayed behind; he was 12 years old then. His parents didn’t know He didn’t follow them home. Instead, He was at the temple talking to the temple leaders. They were amazed at how much Jesus knew about God. Jesus answered their question wisely. No other 12 years olds were like Him. His parents finally came and found him. They were also amazed at how Jesus was able to teach the adults about God. Jesus is so amazing.
