Jesus wants everyone to follow Him.

The Twelve Disciples • Matthew 10:2-4

Jesus wants everyone to follow Him. Jesus chooses twelve disciples to follow Him so that they can know more about Him and His teachings. When the disciples know more about Jesus and His teachings, they can then help others know more about Jesus and will follow Him too. The twelve disciples come from different places and have different families and jobs. They are all different, but what is the same is that Jesus loves every one of them.

2. Why does Jesus want the disciples to follow Him?

“Jesus wants them to know more about Him and His teachings.”

3. Who are your family members that should follow Jesus?

Jesus calls everyone to follow Him because He wants them to know who He is and all the teachings from the Bible. When we know more about God, we can love Him as well as everyone that is around us, just as how Jesus loves them. We can be kind and do good things for everyone. When we are following Jesus, we become His disciples and will do what He tells us to do.
