JESUS LOVES ME (3)

The Centurion • Matthew 8:5-13

A centurion was a leader of a lot of soldiers. They were very powerful and important. But this centurion had heard about Jesus and all the amazing things He had done. He went to Jesus and asked Him to help make his servant who was very sick to be well again. He knew Jesus was very powerful to help. Jesus told him to go home and that his servant will be all better. The centurion did just that and found his servant well again.

1. What did the centurion ask Jesus to do?

“He asked Jesus to make his servant who was very sick to be better again.”

2. Why did Jesus make the centurion’s servant better again?

“Jesus wanted to help those who were in need.”

3. What do you want Jesus to help you in?

Jesus is a very helpful person. He wants to help everyone because He loves all of us. He can do anything to help because He is very powerful. He wants to make you better when you are sick. He wants to help you find friends when you want someone to play with. He wants to give you good food so that you won’t be hungry. Jesus can do anything to help because He loves us.
