Jesus Wants To Be My Friend Forever (1)

Paul Becomes a Believer • Acts 9:1-9

Paul wasn’t a friend of Jesus and anyone who believed in Jesus as well. In fact, he would take anyone who was a friend of Jesus to jail. One day, he was going to a town called Damascus. Suddenly there was a bright light. Paul fell to his knees and heard a voice saying, “Paul, why don’t you want to be my friend?” Paul asked, “Who are you?”. Then he heard this voice saying, “I am Jesus.” It was Jesus! It changed Paul’s life. Jesus wanted to be Paul’s best friend.

Questions

1. What did Paul do to those who were friends of Jesus?

 “He put them in jail.”

2. Why did Jesus speak to Paul when he was going to Damascus?

“Jesus spoke to Paul and ask why he didn’t want to be His friend.”

3. How can you be a good friend to everyone in school?

Jesus wants to be a friend to everyone. But not all people would want Jesus to be their friend. They also may not be friendly to those who are friends of Jesus. But Jesus loves them all. He will show these people how good He is so that these people will soon believe in Jesus and want Him to be their friends. God also wants us to show these people how He is good and that they can trust in Jesus.
