Jesus Wants To Be My Friend Forever (8)

The Church • Hebrews 10:23-25; Acts 2:42-47

The Bible tells us about the very first church where a group of Christians meet together. When they meet, they will think of ways how they can love like Jesus. Some share their lunch with their friends. Some invite their friends to their house. And some give what they have, to those who are poor. Or pray for one another too. Helping and being kind to one another are some many ways where they can love like Jesus.

1. What is a church?

“A church is where a group of Christians gather to worship God.”

2. What do they do when they gather as a church?

“They will think of ways to love each other like Jesus.”

3. How can you love your friend like Jesus?

We can be the church too and think of ways to love like Jesus. Whenever we meet, we can share our toys with each other. We can make some people smile when they are sad. We can help someone carry grocery bags. We can pray for one another. These are ways we can love like Jesus. And when we love like Jesus, they will know that Jesus wants to be their friend forever.
