I CAN LOVE LIKE JESUS

Jesus is the Light of the World.

Jesus Is the Light • John 1:4-5, 8:12, 9:5

God sent Jesus to be the Light of the World. Jesus is not a light like a nightlight or a glow stick. Jesus is a light that helps us see how amazing God is. When Jesus helped people, He was a bright light showing us how God helps people. When Jesus forgave people, He was a bright light showing us how God forgives people. When Jesus loved people, He was a bright light showing us how God loves people and how we can love people too.

2. What did Jesus do as the light of the world?

“Jesus helped poor, forgave and loved everyone.”

3. What can you do to be a bright light for Jesus?

Jesus is the bright light to help you to see how amazing God is. When you are sick, Jesus will make you well again. When you are sorry for doing something wrong, Jesus will forgive you. When you feel afraid, Jesus will take care of you. You can be a bright light for Jesus too by loving others just as how Jesus would love them.
