Daniel and Friends Obey God • Daniel 1

There was a king who captured God’s people and made them work for him, including Daniel and his 3 friends who loved God. Every day, the king gave Daniel and friends the kind of food that God didn’t want them to eat. So they decided to eat just vegetables. After 10 days, they look healthier than anyone else. God helped them because they chose His way.

2. What happened after 10 days of eating just vegetables?

“They were healthier than anyone else because they follow God’s way.”

3. What is God’s way when it comes to listening to your parents?

Following God’s way is always the best. When your parents ask you to keep your toys and go to sleep, you obey them because that’s God’s way. If you want to hit your friend for breaking your toy, that’s not God’s way. Instead, you should be kind and forgive your friend. Sometime doing God’s way is hard but it’s the best way.
