Zechariah loses his voice • Luke 1:5-25

Zechariah and his wife Elizabeth love God but are sad because they have no children and are too old. They pray every day. One day, an angel tells Zechariah he will have a son named John who will help people get ready for Jesus. Zechariah doubts because of his age, so the angel says he won’t speak until the baby is born. Soon Elizabeth gives birth to John, and Zechariah can speak again.

We know that the Bible is God’s word but sometimes we don’t know if what it says is true because we don’t see it. When God says He created all things, we may not know if it’s true because we didn’t see Him doing that. But that doesn’t mean God didn’t do it. We don’t have to see to believe it. God will never lie, so whatever He says are always true.
