Baby Jesus was born! This meant that Jesus’ parents and the shepherds were the first few people who celebrated the birth of Jesus on this very first Christmas day. How excited it was for them to see Jesus because they learned long ago that a very special baby was to be born and will show God’s love to the world. Now they’re seeing it with their own eyes.

1. Who were the first few people who celebrated the birth of Jesus?

“They were Jesus’ parents and the shepherds.”

2. Why were they very excited?

“They saw a very special baby that God has promise to give to the world.”

3. How would you like to celebrate Jesus’ birthday?

It’s Jesus’ birthday! And we can celebrate with songs, dance, food and anything that would make this a joyous occasion. We are celebrating the birthday of a very special person that God gives to the world – Jesus who is our very best friend. He loves us very much and He will always be with us. It’s such a wonderful thing to celebrate this birthday with everybody.
