GOD HELPS ME DO BIG THINGS (1)

Memory Verse : “I know that God helps me.” Psalm 54:4, NIrV

God gives us big things to do.

Noah’s Ark • Genesis 6:8–9:17

God tells Noah to build something that is big which Noah has never seen before. “What is an ark? And how big did You just say to build it, God?” Yes, it is a very big thing God asks Noah to do. Noah trusts God and he does what God tells him to do. The job is big. The boat is big. The animals are big. But Noah’s faith is also very BIG. Noah knows God helps him do big things.

1. What does God tell Noah to do?

2. Why does Noah do what God tells him to do?

“Noah trusts that God will help him do big things.”

3. What big things can you trust God to help you do?

Sometimes there are things just too big and difficult for us to do. For example, we can’t help people to get well when they are sick. Or we can’t stop others from saying or doing bad things. But with God’s help, we can do somethings to make things better. We can write a get-well card for those who are sick. We can pray that God will stop people from saying or doing bad things. God is powerful to help us doing big things that we can’t.
