Jesus wants to be our friend forever.

Breakfast on the Beach • John 21:1-14

One day, after Jesus died and came back, Jesus’ friends were fishing and they saw someone on the beach. It was Jesus! Peter was so excited that he jumped in the water and swam to the shore. The other disciples followed in the boat. When the disciples made it to the beach, they saw that Jesus was cooking breakfast over a fire. There was some fish and bread. Jesus showed them that He was alive and that He wanted to be their friend forever and ever.

Questions

1. What did Peter do when he knew Jesus was on the beach?

“Peter jumped into the water and swam to the beach.”

2. What Jesus preparing at the beach?

“Jesus was preparing breakfast for the disciples.”

3. When you are excited about Jesus, what would you do for Him?

Jesus is not dead but is alive up today. He is alive because He is God. He wants to be our best friend forever. He wants us to know that He loves and cares for us a lot. We can be excited because we have a friend who is so good and whom we can always trust. We can praise Him with songs. We can go to church to learn more about Him. We can be excited because Jesus is alive!
