Solomon Asks For Wisdom 1 Kings 2:1–12, 3:1–15

King David told Solomon to love God and obey Him. After David died, Solomon became king. One night, God appeared to Solomon in a dream and said he could ask for anything. Solomon asked for wisdom to help him lead the people well. God was pleased with Solomon’s choice and gave him great wisdom to make good and fair decisions every day.

3. When it is hard to share your toys or games, who can you ask to help you make a wise choice?

God wants us to ask Him for help. Like Solomon, we can ask God for wisdom to make good choices. We can listen to parents and teachers, think before we act, and be kind to others. When we choose what is right, God is happy and helps us every day.
