David Gets Angry • 1 Samuel 25:1-35
David and his men helped protect Nabal’s shepherds. Later, David asked Nabal for some food, but Nabal was rude and said no. David became very angry and wanted to fight. Nabal’s wise wife, Abigail, quickly brought food and spoke kindly to David. She reminded him to trust God and make a good choice. David listened to Abigail, thanked her, and did not fight. Everyone learned that kind words can bring peace.
