Elisha’s Servant Feels Afraid • 2 Kings 6:8-23

A king wanted to catch God’s prophet Elisha. He sent lots of soldiers to find him. Elisha’s helper was scared, but God showed him that many angels were protecting them. God made the soldiers unable to see properly, and Elisha led them away. Instead of hurting them, Elisha gave them food and sent them home. The soldiers left peacefully, and God showed His power, protection, and kindness.

1. Why did Elisha’s servant feel scared?

2. How did God help him not to be afraid?

“God helped him see that He had sent many angels to protect them.”

3. What are some helpful things that can help you not to be scared?

When we are scared, God will help us not to be scared. When we’re scared of being in the dark, God can send our parents to be with us. When we’re scared of not getting better after falling sick, God can send good doctors to help us get better. God is with us all the time.
