God made everything (2)

Land, Plants, and Seas; Sun, Moon, and Stars • Genesis 1:9-19

On day 3, God made dry ground and called it land. For all the water that gathered together, He called it the sea. Then trees started to grow on the land; vines, bushes, flowers and weeds of different kinds spouted everywhere from the ground. These trees gave fruits of different shapes and colours too – apples, bananas, pineapples and berries were just some of them.  On day 4, God made the sun to give light for the day, and the stars and moon for the nighttime.  God saw everything that He made on these 2 days and said that it was good.

3. Name all the delicious fruits that you like to eat.

God made the trees and plants to cover the land. They have flowers and fruits that will give seeds so that many more trees and plants can continue to grow. A lot of these fruits are delicious for animals and people to eat. We can use flowers to decorate our gardens and homes too.

The sun gives light so that we can see in the daytime. We can go out to play, to school, to work and to do many more things. In the nighttime, we can sleep to rest after a long tiring day.

God is so wonderful that He made all the things that we need.
