Land, Plants, and Seas; Sun, Moon, and Stars • Genesis 1:9-19
On day 3, God made dry ground and called it land. For all the water that gathered together, He called it the sea. Then trees started to grow on the land; vines, bushes, flowers and weeds of different kinds spouted everywhere from the ground. These trees gave fruits of different shapes and colours too – apples, bananas, pineapples and berries were just some of them.
On day 4, God made the sun to give light for the day, and the stars and moon for the nighttime.
God saw everything that He made on these 2 days and said that it was good.
