GOD MADE ME TO HELP OTHERS (3)

Timothy and Tabitha • 1 Timothy 4:12; Acts 9:36-39

In the Bible there was a woman called Tabitha. She loved Jesus very much. She was always helping people. One way she helped was by making clothes for people. There was another person called Timothy. He helped people by teaching them about God and showing them how to love like Jesus. God made Tabitha and Timothy to help, and they helped a lot of people.

1. How did Tabitha help others?

“She helped by making clothes for people.”

2. Why did Tabitha and Timothy want to help others?

“They wanted to help because God made them to help people.”

3. What can you do to help others as a family?

God made you and me to help people too. There are so many ways to help. We can draw pictures to cheer up our friends. We can give flowers to our grandparents when they are not feeling well, to make them feel happy. We can help keep the toys even when we didn’t make the mess. We can help pick up trash in the park with our family. We can give food to people who need it. There are so many more ways to help others. God made us to help people.
