One day, Jesus told his friends something very important. He said, “Go and make disciples of everyone from everywhere. Teach them to do everything I told you. I will be with you always.” So Jesus’ friends went to tell everyone everywhere about Jesus. Peter told people about Jesus and 3000 people followed Jesus.

Questions

1. What did Jesus tell his friends to do?

“Jesus told them to tell everyone about Him, that He loves everyone.”

2. What did Peter do?

“He went to tell everyone about Jesus, and 3000 people followed Jesus.”

3. Who can you tell about Jesus so that they can also follow Him?

Jesus wants us to tell everyone that He loves them. We can tell our friends in school about Jesus. There are people who work in grocery stores, children in playgrounds and the elderly uncle who lives next door who have never heard about Jesus. We can go to tell them that Jesus loves them and wants to be their friends forever.
