Jesus can help us choose love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness and gentleness. All these are like the power from Jesus to do what is right. There is one more thing and that is self-control. It means we can choose to do the right thing.

Or when you are hungry but your mother is busy now, would you throw a tantrum or choose to wait for her to make lunch for you? Choosing self-control is a way to show God’s goodness to everyone.
