JESUS IS THE SPECIAL SON OF GOD. (1)

When Jesus is born, Joseph and Mary take him to the temple in Jerusalem. There, when the old man Simeon saw baby Jesus, he is overjoyed. God tells him that before he dies, he will get to see a Saviour for all people. Simeon praise God because Jesus is the precious Son of God.

1. How does Simeon feel when he sees baby Jesus?

“He is so overjoyed when he sees Jesus.”

2. Why is Simeon so happy when he sees Jesus?

“He’s happy because God tells him that he will see the Saviour before he dies.

3. How would you like to show that Jesus is special?

Jesus is special because He is God’s Son. God tells the people long ago that Jesus will come to love and care for them. So everyone praises God when Jesus comes. We can praise Jesus too by singing praises, clapping our hands, obeying everything He says and tell everyone about Him because He is very special.
