Young Jesus in the Temple • Luke 2:41-52

When Jesus was only twelve years old, He knew more about God than anyone else. When His mom found Him at the temple, Jesus said He had to be in His Father’s house. Jesus’ Father is God. Jesus looked like a regular kid, but He was way, way more than that. Jesus is the special Son of God.

1. Where was Jesus when his parents came looking for him?

3. How would you like to spend time with God?

Jesus is special because He is God’s Son. He likes to be where God the Father is. When we love Jesus, we would also like to spend time with Him. We can be singing praise songs to Him or read the Bible. You can also go to church and paly with other children who love Jesus too.
