Jesus is alive!

Easter • Matthew 26:26–28:10

One night as Jesus was having supper with his friends, He told them that He had to go away. But He promised He will come back. Then Jesus went to a garden to pray. Suddenly some soldier took Him away. They hurt Jesus and He died. His friends were sad. They put Jesus in a tomb with a big stone covering the entrance. But 3 days later, the big stone was rolled away, but Jesus wasn’t inside. Jesus is alive! He came back just as He said He would!

3. Who do you want to tell that Jesus is alive?

Easter is not about a big rabbit carrying a basket full of easter eggs. It’s all about Jesus coming back to life! He is here with us, telling us all the wonderful things about His love and the place where we will soon live with Him for a long time called heaven. This is the good news that we want to tell everyone, that Jesus is alive and He wants to be our friend forever.
