I can thank God for people who help me.

Nehemiah Repairs a Wall • Nehemiah 1 – 3

Nehemiah saw that the city walls of Jerusalem have many broken parts. With these broken parts, they would not be able to keep the people safe. So Nehemiah wanted to repair these walls but they were just too big of a job for one person. Thankfully, Nehemiah didn’t have to fix the walls all by himself. He prayed to God for help and God gave him all kinds of people to help. When the repairing was done, they all celebrated because God is good.

1. How was Nehemiah able to finish repairing the walls?

“God sent to him many other people to help repair the walls.”

2. What did God send people to help Nehemiah?

“God sent people to help because He is good.”

3. How can you help your friends when playing or making crafts?

It is so good to have people helping us with many things we can’t do by ourself. If you can’t prepare for dinner, God gives you parents or other adults who can. If you have difficulties in reading your Bible, God gives you church friends and pastors who can help you do that. And if you don’t know how to ride a bicycle, God will give you someone who can teach you. God can send someone to help you because He is good.
