Jesus Wants To Be My Friend Forever (7)

Paul Is Shipwrecked • Acts 27:1-2, 14-25, 33-36, 41; 28:1,7-9

Paul knew Jesus wanted him to go everywhere, telling the good news that Jesus wants to be everyone’s friend forever. One day he went on a boat journey. While the boat was sailing, there was a big storm which rocked it real hard. All of the people on the boat were afraid. But Paul knew that God would take care of them. So, he chose to love like Jesus and encourage everyone on the boat to not be afraid. Then the boat got stuck and damaged when it hit dry ground. But all the people were safe and Paul continued to love and care for them.

1. What happened to the boat that Paul was in?

2. What did Paul do when all the people were afraid?

“Paul wanted to love like Jesus by encouraging and helping the people.”

3. How can you encourage someone who is afraid?

God wants us to tell everyone that Jesus can be their friend forever. We can do that by encouraging someone who is sick or afraid. When people are sick, they will be sad because they will feel weak and have no appetite to eat. When people are afraid, they would not dare to do many things they want. We can choose to love like Jesus by encouraging and helping them. This is a good way to tell them that Jesus wants to be their friend forever.
