Jesus wants to be my friend forever. (2)

Memory Verse“I have called you friends.” John 15:15

Jesus wants everyone to follow Him.

Follow Me • Matthew 9:9-12; Luke 5:1-11

Jesus began to gather 12 disciples to follow Him. Jesus didn’t choose important people or leaders to be on His team. No, instead Jesus went to some fishing boats where He asked Peter, Andrew, James and John to follow Him. And they did. Then Jesus went to Michael, a tax collector who made bad choices to follow Him. And he did. The other 7 people who followed Him were Phillip, Nathanael, Thomas, James, Thaddeous, Simon and Judas. They were ordinary people and Jesus wanted to be their friend forever.
