Jesus Loves Everyone (4)

Memory Verse“Be kind and loving to each other.” Ephesians 4:32

Jesus loves me.

Jesus and the Children • Luke 18:15-16

Parents were bringing their children to Jesus so He could bless them. The disciples, thinking they were doing what was best, told the parents to go away. I mean, Jesus is super important and has super important things to do. He can’t be bothered with children, right? Wrong. Jesus quickly tells His disciples to let the children come to Him and don’t make it hard for children to get to Him. Why? Because Jesus loves everyone.

Questions

1. What did the disciples do when they saw the children?

“The disciples asked the parents to take their children away.”

2. Why did Jesus ask the disciples not to chase the children away?

“Jesus loved all the little children.”

3. In what way do you think Jesus shows His love to you?

Some adults do not like children to be around because they think that children can be quite noisy and rowdy. But Jesus is different. He welcomes all the little children. He enjoys being with you. You may be small and can’t do many things like adults or understand what adults are talking about. Jesus is not bothered, and He always want to be your friend.
