We can celebrate Jesus.
Palm Sunday • Matthew 21:1-11, 15-16
As Jesus entered Jerusalem on a donkey, the people were so excited because they have heard and saw all the wonderful things that He has done. They laid palm branches and coats on the road to make a special path for Jesus while they cheered and shouted, “Hosanna! Hosanna! Yay, Jesus!” The people waved their palm branches in the air and celebrated Jesus.

1. Why are the people excited to hear about Jesus?
“They have seen all the wonderful things that Jesus had done.”
2. How do the people welcome and celebrate Jesus?
“They wave palm branches and lay coats on the road for Jesus.”
3. How can you celebrate Jesus?
Jesus has done many wonderful things for us. He loves us and cares for us. He is our best friend forever. We can celebrate Jesus by playing worship songs at home and singing along too. We can go to church and learn about Him with everyone. We can draw pictures of the stories in the Bible and hang them on our bedroom wall. There are many other ways to celebrate Jesus because He is so special.
